Usually shy, nocturnal creatures; contaminate
food; can aggravate allergies; found in dark, moist areas wherever
food is stored or prepared.
Adults are usually between 34-53 mm in length. Their color is
reddish brown except for a submarginal pale brown to yellowish
band around the edges. Both sexes are fully winged with the wings
of the male extending beyond the tip of the abdomen. The females
wings do not. They are poor to moderately good fliers.
The antennae are uniformly brown.

Usually shy, nocturnal creatures; contaminate
food; can aggravate allergies; found in dark, moist areas wherever
food is stored or prepared. German cockroach reproduces rapidly.
The adults range from 13-16 mm in length. Their color is a light
brown to tan except for 2 dark, almost parallel longitudinal
stripes on their protective shield. The female is darker than
the male in color and her abdomen is broader. They rarely glide
or fly.

The adults range from 25-32mm in length. Their color is typically
shiny, brownish black but varies from dark mahogany to black.
Both sexes have wings that extend beyond their abdomens. They
are good fliers and are attracted to light.

ft in a single flight; typically found in damp, shaded areas;
at night, they are attracted to lights such as TV screens;
feed on honeydew, flowers and crops.
The adults range from13-16mm in length. Their color is light
brown to tan except for 2 dark longitudinal stripes on its
shield. They are strong fliers and fly often.

Usually found in commercial buildings which
have high temperatures and high humidity; prefer warm areas
with tropical plants such as greenhouses; if plants are not
available will feed on starchy materials.
The adults range from 32-35 mm in length. Their color is reddish
brown except for a yellow band around shield and yellow streak
on outer edge of wing. Both sexes have wings and can fly.

Burrowing insects usually found in loose soil,
loose litter, etc. Will hide in cracks and crevices under debris.
At night, they become very active. Feed on plants and can cause
considerable damage.
The adults range from 18-25 mm in length. Their color is brown
to black except on front margins which are usually yellow.
Wings extend beyond abdomen.
