Time Magazine has a great pictorial about 10 invasive species who have overstayed their welcome. In begins with the Asian Camel Cricket, and moves through frogs, rabbits and more. The thing they most share in common is the fact that they come into an area, and after a short time, over take it by the sheer number of their population. According to NBC News, the memorial tree planted in honor of Beatle George Harrison has died to an infestation of an ironic pest, the beetle. The specific beetle doing the damage was the bark beetle and ladybug beetle. The tree was planted in Griffith Park which is located in Los Angeles, California.
