Don't let mosquitoes keep you on the bench...
Are you itching to get in the game, but mosquito bites have you scratching yourself silly? Warmer weather mixed with afternoon showers create a haven for the mosquito to dwell. Let Falcon rid your yard of these pests. Mosquitoes are not only a pest that creates intense itching when they bite, but can transmit serious and sometimes fatal illnesses such as West Nile Virus, Malaria, Encephalitis, and Dengue Fever. It's important to take extra care in the Sunshine State so please be careful.
Tips for reducing Mosquitoes:
- Keep grass mowed short before, not after treatment, and never over water.
- Keep hedges and other hiding places trimmed & open.
- Empty & clean bird baths and ornamental ponds regularly.
- Keep wading & swimming pools clean at all times.
- Get rid of old tires, bottles, cans, buckets, pet dishes, boats, toys, tree holes, etc.—anything that can collect rainwater.
- Empty plant saucers as often as possible.
- Plant bromeliads in pots by inverting them, not by dumping them in the ground.
- Keep gutters and downspouts clean and free running.
- Put screens over water collection barrels.
- Treat mosquito resting and breeding areas monthly.
